Submission Guidelines

JAMSOR's editorial team welcomes articles on a wide range of management-related topics. Submissions must offer original, substantive content grounded in expert analysis, empirical research, or significant professional experience. Only manuscripts that follow the guidelines below will be considered.

Prospective authors should ensure any relationship between themselves and the subject organization is disclosed. We look for work supported by real-world evidence and ideas that are genuinely new — or present a clearly new perspective on something of interest to our readership.

Manuscript Length

Full research articles typically run 4,000–8,000 words (word counts may vary for special issues).

Required Structure

  • Abstract — structured, identifying the aim, methodology, and conclusions of the study; under 300 words.
  • Keywords — 4–6 keywords related to the paper, used for indexing.
  • Introduction — situates the paper in the literature, states the gap being addressed, the purpose of the study, and its intended contribution.
  • Literature Review — assesses prior work on the variables or questions under investigation.
  • Methodology — describes how the study was conducted, supported by scientific references.
  • Results — presents the study's main theoretical or practical findings.
  • Discussion — interprets and contextualizes the results.
  • Conclusion — summarizes the paper's contribution, limitations, and directions for future research.
  • References — formatted in APA style (7th edition).
  • Appendices — permitted where relevant.
  • Figures, tables, and charts — accepted only where necessary to advance the argument, and must be submitted as separate, editable, high-resolution files.
  • Acknowledgements — optional, submitted as a separate file to preserve anonymity during double-blind review.

Submission Process

  • All submissions must be original, unpublished work not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Authors must ensure that any conflicts of interest or funding sources are declared.
  • Figures, tables, and charts should be embedded in the manuscript for review, and also provided separately upon acceptance.
  • Reviewers may request access to underlying data or materials; authors should be prepared to provide them.
